DESCRIPTION
The award winning ADaPT Festival returned to the U.S. from Vienna, AUSTRIA with an opening event at the Center for Performance Research in Brooklyn, NY on May 30th. The event not only sold out, but we sadly had to turn folks away.  The event now flows West with events over 40 companies/Independent artists from 23 different cities participating. Local events are scheduled at Center Stage Theater, Paseo Nuevo Mall Amphi-Theater, the Montecito School of Ballet, and Fishbon's Pescadrome with an event scheduled in SoCal at ARC Pasadena.  Festival events include a dynamic educational outreach with master classes and workshops in contemporary dance and improvisation by world class NYC and SoCal artists, Dance, Physical Theater and Film for black box venues, an outdoor component and return of the Cut the Edge performance installation at Fishbon's Pescadrome featuring dance, improvisation, music, visual art, installation, poetry, film and audience participation.

This is a chance in a life time opportunity to engage with powerful creatives fully dedicated to artistic excellence and also being a part of shifting the paradigm in how the arts organize to create bridges of opportunity between different cities and different countries which have not existed before.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds - but you might get turned away because the events sell out so don't wait to get tickets.

What do the different program names refer to?  Science Fiction writers ...
